What is Thermography

Thermography is a safe, comfortable and easy procedure. This risk assessment test can help aid in early detection of breast cancer with absolutely no radiation or compression. Thermography can establish overall breast health and can be used as a whole body approach to wellness. Thermography is taking a heat map of your body and provides you with information about what needs to be evaluated. When thermography is used as an adjunctive screening to a mammogram, 95% of early stage cancers will be detected.

There are over 800 published studies in peer-reviewed journals about thermography of the breast alone. A 2008 study at the New York Presbyterian Hospital in Cornell was published in the American Journal of Surgery showing a 97% sensitivity. Thermography is looking for physiological changes happening in the body which is why receiving follow up screenings are so important. When you monitor the physiological changes occurring in your body, you have the ability to save your life, or prevent disease from developing in the first place.

FULL BODY THERMOGRAPHY

A full body screening is recommended at least once a year starting at age twenty.  With thermography you can monitor yourself by seeing changes in real time on your scan. You are seeing the inflammation which is a precursor to cancer and other diseases.

Thermography is helpful in seeing many different pathologies and it can also be a great indication for pain. It can show you where your pain is coming from and can give you a great indication if it is muscular pain, nerve pain or circulatory pain.
